  1. i love the emotion you captured in all of these photos. each of them are readable and show the good times your subjects were having.

  2. Your contrast in all these images is really nice, especially in the first image - it really pops out. And your nephew's expressions are all fantastic - I love kids, because they won't hide them and express them far more readily than adults do.

  3. I liek the first and fourth one the best. I like the depth of field in the fourth one, and I think you got good contrast. I think you might even be able to get away with burning some of the edges in the first one. Good job.

  4. They're all really great shots...so much to be said from just looking at them. It looks like it was a really fun day. I like the one you like also, it's funny how kids can be in front of a camera, so free. I also like the one of the little girl, great contrast and I really like the composition.

  5. I like the second photo with the kids goofing off. My eye is able to travel through the image without being stopped. :)

  6. I really like the third to last one of the little boy. The way he's set up against the light background and then how there's that dark shadow around his face from the his hood looks really cool. And his facial expression is great

  7. I like the "crying" (?) boy in the 5th one. Seems like there's a good story behind it. The Fourth picture of the semi-crying boy would have been my top pic but it was a bit blurry.

  8. I absolutely love all of the little kids. The last one is priceless! I love his expression and the thing in front of the lense works. It makes it more candid. I also really enjoy the first one. She is so cute and I love that she isn't looking at the camera, and the angle the shot was taken, like looking from above. Good job :)

  9. I like the first one a lot. I tend to like closer-up images so I like the 4th one too. O can imagine what the boy is acting like in the 4th one and it makes me smile. I also like the contrast and lighting in the 4th one, and the way that it's balanced. It may also be interesting cropped so that the boy's face is towards the side of the image instead of the middle.

  10. I like the emotion you capture. I think the first image needs more/less contrast because there is too much white. I love the 4th photo! His expression is so funny even though it kind of looks like he's going to cry. I like the patterns that are going on in the 2nd to last image. And this photo has a nice contrast.

  11. the last three images are great. the expressions are mesmerizing. the compositions are unique. i wish the first one was a bit sharper. the third one is interesting because of the figure in the corner. it feels like we are looking over her/his shoulder.

  12. i like your last photo the most! his laughing face is priceless! i like how there is something before his face, it really shows the depth of this photo. i wish the outline of the boy's head could be a little bit more clear.......

  13. 1. I love how high-keyed everything is in the shot…goes really well with the mood in the subject's face

    2. I wish there was just a tad more contrast

    3. Maybe tone down the highlights? Great shot though

    4. Just a thought (all of these shots are perfect), try compiling all three together side-by-side and see what kind of effect a narrative would have

    5. This is great! His facial expression is awesome

    6. Awesome
